We believe it makes little sense for an elderly person and their family to go through the drama of shifting from their family home to a village, if the likelihood is that within a few years they may need to shift again to obtain assistance or care.

Even if a Village has its own care facility a shift still amounts to having to leave home. Our experience is that the conventional institutional type of care facility is not where elderly people want to live the last years of their life, given a choice.

Our aim is to provide this choice.

That is: - Retirement Village styled accommodation coupled with assistance or care packages ranging from mild assistance, through what could be termed Rest Home care, and extending to full, Private Hospital care. This can all be provided without a resident having to shift from their unit.

To compliment this, Rosedale has a small boutique styled Hospital facility for the occasions where a resident may need closer or more secure supervision.
