What our residents & relatives say

To all the Rosedale Staff, A BIG thank you to you all for your consistent 'EXC' care and attention to my mother and all the other residents here. I truly appreciate all your efforts. Take care and a happy St Patricks Day!!

Love, June (2019)

Resident's daughter

I firstly wanted to say how much I appreciated the love and care Dad and I received over the last 4 months in particular. Everyone from the cleaner on the ward, to the activity organiser, to all the nurses and admin staff were just incredible, hard working and so caring.

Sian (2019)

Resident's daughter

To the wonderful Rosedale Village staff who have cared so fantastically for our much loved mother, Barbara, for many years.

Love and appreciation from Martin & Paula, Graham & Anne, plus our children & grandchildren (2018)

Meet our team

We would like you to meet us before we meet you. Here are some of our highly trained and qualified staff members to introduce themselves.

Diane Browne

Facility Manager

Diane has been with Rosedale Village since 2015. Diane is originally from the Cape in South Africa and immigrated to New Zealand in 2005, after having first lived in Ireland for a year. She's an avid animal lover and spends her spare time with her husband exploring New Zealand.

After completing her studies in accounting Diane worked for several companies including in the hospitality industry.

Diane says "When I came to Rosedale Village, I was completely out of my comfort zone but knew from my interview this was the place I wanted to work. The best part about working at Rosedale is the wonderful residents and exceptional staff. I'm often humbled when I hear stories about our residents' extraordinary lives."

Ned Tubac

Clinical Services Manager

Ned graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the Philippines (2009) and worked in the Emergency Department for around 7 solid years. He moved to New Zealand two years ago and has been working in Aged Care since then.

About working at Rosedale ned says that; "I am deeply in love working in an Aged Care facility as this has taught me a lot about self-preservation and human dignity. Residents and families are not alone, as to our virtue, we promise to care."

Julia Batyrova

Diversional Therapist

Julia is a highly talented and qualified member of the Rosedale team. She has many qualifications spanning from Diversional Therapy Strand to medication administration.

Julia gets particular joy out of seeing her residents every day and seeing their smiles and helping them achieve a better quality of life. "Rosedale gives me so much, spending time with the residents is the second-best part of my day, the first being that I'm able to have an impact on their lives".

When she's not busy at Rosedale Julia likes to spend her time in the kitchen and putting her green thumb to good use in the garden.
