Key Village Staff

Meet our team

We would like you to meet us before we meet you. Here are some of our highly trained and qualified staff members to introduce themselves.

Alex Bentley

Village Manager

Alex is from the Bay of Islands but has spent almost all of his adult life in Auckland, with a few years spent exploring California.

He has an extensive background in Senior and General Management in a variety of industries including banking, finance and services industries.

Rosedale is like a second home for Alex, he loves coming in everyday; "everyone here is family, I get to spend my day making life easier for my residents, and that's a great feeling".

Ned Tubac

Clinical Services Manager

Ned graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the Philippines (2009) and worked in the Emergency Department for around 7 solid years. He moved to New Zealand two years ago and has been working in Aged Care since then.

Ned enjoyed playing tennis as a young boy and is now a member of a tennis club in West Auckland. He also follows his passion for scuba diving by becoming a certified Advanced Diver and volunteers on a rescue team.

About working at Rosedale ned says that; "I am deeply in love working in an Aged Care facility as this has taught me a lot about self-preservation and human dignity. Residents and families are not alone, as to our virtue, we promise to care."

Diane Browne

Assistant Villager Manager

Diane has been with Rosedale Village since 2015. Diane is originally from the Cape in South Africa and immigrated to New Zealand in 2005, after having first lived in Ireland for a year. She's an avid animal lover and spends her spare time with her husband exploring New Zealand.

After completing her studies in accounting Diane worked for several companies including in the hospitality industry.

Diane says "When I came to Rosedale Village, I was completely out of my comfort zone but knew from my interview this was the place I wanted to work. The best part about working at Rosedale is the wonderful residents and exceptional staff. I'm often humbled when I hear stories about our residents' extraordinary lives."

Julia Batyrova

Activities Co-Ordinator

Julia is a highly talented and qualified member of the Rosedale team. She has many qualifications spanning from Diversional Therapy Strand to medication administration.

Julia gets particular joy out of seeing her residents every day and seeing their smiles and helping them achieve a better quality of life. "Rosedale gives me so much, spending time with the residents is the second-best part of my day, the first being that I'm able to have an impact on their lives".

When she's not busy at Rosedale Julia likes to spend her time in the kitchen and putting her green thumb to good use in the garden.
