Key Village Staff

Please take a moment and let us introduce ourselves to you.

We would like you to meet us before we meet you. Here are some of our highly trained and qualified staff members to introduce themselves.

Michael Martin

Village Manager

Michael has recently joined Rosedale as our Village Manager.

With qualifications in Finance and General Management his career initially tracked along management roles for financial institutions and smaller mid-sized business. In 2009 however, he jumped at the opportunity to leave the Corporate world to work for the first time in the Residential Aged Care sector. Michael says "I do not know of any other industry where one can experience - every day - a sense of purpose and satisfaction in the care & support for those who need it and deserve it."

When he is not at work Michael will probably be involved in sport somewhere within North Harbour region. He has been active in many local clubs be it rugby, cricket, golf, or most recently soccer. He invites anyone from our local community to contact him to discuss how Rosedale Village can assist in providing care and support to their family members.

Pamela Soliguen

Clinical Services Manager

"In 2009 I completed my Bachelors in Nursing and held a medical and surgical nurse role in the Philippines. I was then introduced to aged care, where my nursing perspective was bought into a whole new light.

I migrated to New Zealand in 2015 and started working at Rosedale Village shortly after arriving. I feel very fortunate with the opportunity to make a difference in our residents, their families, and my colleagues' lives.

In my spare time, I enjoy discovering quaint cafes and walking along the country's endless coasts."

Julia Batyrova

Diversional Therapist

Julia is a highly talented and qualified member of the Rosedale Village team. She has many qualifications from Diversional Therapy to medication management.

Julia gets joy out of seeing her residents every day enjoying their smiles and helping them achieve a better quality of life. "Rosedale Village gives me so much, spending time with the residents is the second-best part of my day, the first being that I'm able to have an impact on their lives". When she's not busy at Rosedale Village Julia likes to spend her time in the kitchen and putting her green thumb to good use in the garden.

What our residents & relatives say

Although our dad's stay was a short one we felt that you and the staff were so kind. You received and welcomed dad with open arms. For this we will be eternally grateful.

Warm regards Linda, Norma and family
